An exquisite decoration by Casamania has a laconic but a symbolic design, and it is also a unique lamp. A tiny canary is placed in the delicate cage with the subtle metallic rods. This installation is unusual, but with the appearance of the light the whole composition changes. The idea of such an extraordinary lightening design belongs to Jake Phipps. An image of a canary in the interior has its own history. This bird became a symbol of luxury and richness a long time ago. Therefore a presence of a canary was considered as a symbol of high manners. Soon the unique golden cages for these birds were made for the European palaces and they were decorated with jewels.
As well TWEE T. lamps by Casamania are made in modern style, without lots of splendid details, but this collection is marked with an elegancy and true beauty. The cages have special metallic rods which can be painted in black colour or decorated with the golden leaf.
A source of the light is fixed in the inner side of the cage. So, a soft light diffuses around the cage and illuminates the whole composition of the TWEE T. lamp on the inside. A tiny figure of the canary is ceramic and it can de decorated with a unique painting in black colour, or it is completely covered with gold. Only one or a few canaries can be placed into one cage.
